- The Round Bald Trail - Considered the prettiest part of the Appalachian Trail Round Bald is an easy hike up to a peak overlooking mountains as far as the eye can see. You can also then continue the trail to Jane Bald and then to the Grassy Ridge Bald to extend the hike making it a five mile round trip.
