Pot Point Loop in its entirety is an 11.2-mile loop trail that begins near the Scenic City of Tennessee, Chattanooga. The trail is rated moderate in difficulty.

The dog-friendly trail is best used from the months of March to October, and Pot Point Loop operates as an add-on to the Cumberland Trail. It's officially located in the Prentice Cooper Wildlife Management Area.

Although the trail is long, the loop is considered a low-key sampler of the ultra-challenging trek across the Cumberland Plateau. Natural outlooks and outcroppings are scattered across the trail.

The trail does gain a solid amount of elevation, but it remains fairly gradual. You can experience the trail as a day trip, an overnight backpacking trip, or maybe as you camp in the famed McNabb campsite.
