Norris Lake is actually a reservoir that stretches across Union, Grainger, Anderson, Campbell and Claiborne Counties in northeastern Tennessee. It was planned and created with the help of the TVA in the early 1930s, with construction beginning in 1933 and completed in early 1936.

Norris Lake is a great spot for fishing, but not fish consumption. It's better to catch and release here. You'll find black and striped bass, walleye, crappie, and sunfish hiding beneath the water.
