East Tennessee has some of the world’s most breathtaking views. This humble little place might just look like a log cabin but inside you will find some of the greatest BBQ around.
You will know you have arrived when you see the Highlander BBQ sign with a police car’s light on top of it.

This is a quick insight that this restaurant has a few quirks that make it endearing. On the porch and inside you will see large pig statues with human clothes. They are funny and a great spot for a family photo.
Inside you will be greeted to a humble setting filled with friends and family laughing while sharing a meal together. Then the friendly staff will treat you as a friend, which is always the way of southern hospitality.
