Oh, Nashville. Only you can experience wintertime in a way that borders on wild discomfort and a cultish obsession. Only Nashville boasts hipsters gallivanting in the snow with coffee cups in hand for their social media followers alongside harried businessfolk who can’t seem to figure out how to drive in the slush and snow on the ground. It’s a brave new world, friends, and Nashville is still figuring it out. Aren’t we all?
Most of the time Nashville finds itself dealing with slush, a strange middle-ground between the dangers of ice and the fluffy banks of snow that plague the north. Just...plan to leave for work early and drive slow, folks.
Even when the city is doused in a solid layer of snow, good luck finding a snow plow. Nashville only has one, which means quite a few folks find themselves snowed in for a few days, even in the middle of the city.

Especially when it comes to the transitionary seasons, autumn and spring. You never know when you might get hit with a random 80 degree day in the dead of winter. It's quite...odd. Although incredibly pleasant.
When Nashville drivers find themselves in quite literally ANY kind of rough weather, the highways and backroads become wildly clogged. Just plan for it and keep your eyes on the road, friends.
