We live in a world that’s full of modern-day conveniences, but with every convenience comes a different distraction. From televisions to smartphones that operate like tiny laptops, it can be exhausting to navigate the day-to-day in today’s society. Here in Nashville, you can step away from the crush of daily life with a nostalgic trip back in time with Nashville Wine On The Rails. Hop on board and get ready for an experience unlike any other, folks — Tennessee seems to have figured out time travel. Learn more about their upcoming springtime excursion below!
The all-day excursion takes place on a 1950's train, renovated to be comfortable for passengers in a way that still gives a nod to the nostalgia of times gone by.
On the train, you'll get a kick out of the vintage-adorned wine attendants and you'll be treated to wine samplings and live music as well as a free glass.
The six-hour train trip will take you across the beautiful expanse of the Upper Cumberland, and you'll be treated to stunning views of Tennessee as you sip and sample whiskeys and wines. There's a catered box lunch available for lunchtime, as well.
The entire event is fun, low-key and high quality. It's great for folks over the age of twenty one, and makes for a great date day or a moment spent outside of the city. Mid-century period costumes are encouraged!
Of course, the live music that's performed up and down the aisles is a true treat. Make sure you purchase your tickets ahead of time and come ready to board at 11 a.m. The train leaves at 11:30 on the dot!
The next event is scheduled for Saturday, April 25th, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This fun event is bound to book up fast, so the earlier you purchase your tickets the better.
