The Sweet Bean opened up in, "The Barn," a classic, turn-of-the-century carriage house located in East Nashville. It's a fun atmosphere that offers folks the chance to indulge in a cup of cocoa or coffee, or perhaps even spin their own cotton candy.

Owned by Dave and Julia, the husband-and-wife duo has quickly created a quirky and fun-loving spot out of their tiny corner of East Nashville.

Make sure you check out all of the seasonal drink specials as well. The peppermint addition to the holiday season was a welcome surprise, but on a regular day, we may go for an iced Cuban or vanilla chai latte. For roughly $3 a pop, there's no beating the menu OR the prices.

The Sweet Bean carries pastries from the ever-popular Sweet 16th Bakery in East Nashville. Hours are from 11am to 8pm, Monday through Thursday, and from 10am to 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Make sure to get your fill during the week, though. This sweet little shop is closed on Sundays!
