It’s not difficult to find a new place to eat in Nashville, Tennessee, mainly because the city has simply exploded on the culinary front in the last couple of years. If you’re looking for Asian-inspired southern fusion fare, it’s here in Music City, or you can fall back on the meat-and-three classic that built the south as we know it. If you’re looking for a classic place to eat, however, you don’t want to head to downtown. Instead, make your way to West End. Visit Tin Angel and fall back into the classic hum of Nashville, the way it used to be.
The atmosphere is cozy, a reprieve from the chill of the winter season or perhaps the indomitable heat of the summertime. A local hot spot for date nights, you're bound to find folks celebrating first dates and fiftieth anniversaries. It's the kind of restaurant that welcomes everyone, and where everyone feels like they simply belong.
The vintage interior only adds to the experience. Tin Angel boasts that it's, "Nashville's original neighborhood restaurant", and has celebrated over a quarter of a century serving the folk of Middle Tennessee.
The restaurant itself opened in 1993, and is housed in a historic building that has been carefully restored and designed. If you look up, you'll even find period tin ceilings. The dining service, however, is marketed as casual.
All ingredients are sourced locally where possible in order to create the best experience for their patrons. Here, you indulge in excellent food and are treated with incredible kindness by the staff. It's where you're family, every time.
You can visit Tin Angel for yourself from 4:30pm to 10pm Monday through Saturday, and from 4:30pm to 9pm on Sundays. Make sure to make a reservation online or by phone, and head over to 3201 West End Avenue in Nashville for an incredible experience.
If you’re looking for a few more restaurants to knock off your bucket list, these Nashville eateries are bound to fill the void.
