It's Impossible Not To Love This Nashville Restaurant Right On The River
The weather is starting to warm up, and that means Nashvillian’s are starting to make their way from the cozy beds and couches and out into the sunshine. If you’re out in the sun then you’re bound to get hungry sooner rather than later, which is why we decided to take a trip out to the river to find a beautiful place to enjoy soft afternoon breezes and a delicious meal. Then? We stumbled across The Rudder at Anchor High Marina and it made all the difference.

The Rudder at Anchor High Marina is located in Hendersonville, Tennessee, right on Old Hickory Lake. It's a family-friendly restaurant that gives you the space to enjoy dinner and cocktails with your loved ones while enjoying the Tennessee outdoors.

Located in Rockland Harbor on Old Hickory Lake, the secluded atmosphere really makes this a destination restaurant within our land-locked ol' Rocky Top.

It looks like a real party, doesn't it? Though the Rudder may get a bit packed during the summertime, it's well-worth the wait.

You can visit for a refreshing cocktail at the tiki bar or bring your kids to feed the fish and ducks that make their home in the surrounding water. The little ones are always enamored with the wildlife! Also, it's never too difficult to convince us to order a refreshing drink in the heat of the summertime.

This is exactly why your kids are going to think this is the best restaurant EVER. You get all sorts of friends to join, free of charge.

The Rudder serves lunch and dinner Thursday through Sunday, coupled with breakfast and brunch on the weekend. Their expansive menu boasts mouthwatering shrimp (as you can see!) and make-your-own pizzas. Make sure you show up for live music events as well - it only elevates the fun!

You may even spot their mascot, Mo, if you keep an eye out. He sure elevates the character of the place!

You can visit for yourself at 126 River Road in Hendersonville, Tennessee. We'll see you there!
This Tennessee restaurant was named one of the best in the nation – can you guess which one?!
