The Lights Fest is a nationwide interactive lantern festival that will be making its way to Music City on May 12th at the Jolly Beef Farm.
Participants are encouraged to write their goals, wishes, or dreams on a paper lantern. At the moment of release, the lanterns will be lighted and released into the sky in one magical moment.
The festival is dedicated to leaving only a positive effect on the environment. The lanterns themselves are biodegradable, and the event only takes place with direct permission from the local fire authorities.
The Lights Fest begins at dusk, so be sure to bundle up and bring some chairs and blankets to prepare for the event. After the lantern release, there will be live music, dancing, and local artists to keep you entertained for hours.
