Nashville sure is a fun city to eat in, what with our hot chicken and homemade biscuits, but sometimes it’s tempting to indulge in a little something different. An experience, perhaps. Whether you’re looking to be regaled on a Cumberland riverboat or feel a little more like a rooftop bar experience, Nashville has a whole lot of restaurants and experiences to choose from. But what about if you could have it all at once…?
We came across Nashville’s Aquarium Restaurant and simply couldn’t believe it was real – check it out!
The Aquarium Restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee is located in the highly popular Opry Mills Mall, and is a water-infused restaurant that's perfect for the entire family.
Walk through the entrance archway to find yourself in a dining room ringed with large fish tanks. You'll have the chance to experiences an underwater eating experiences as you're regaled with tropical fish throughout the entirety of your meal.
The restaurant is dedicated to seafood and steak, offering menu options such as grilled chicken breast, a cheesesteak sandwich and the "Impossible Burger," a vegetarian burger that simply is too good to be true.
You'll want to check the restaurant calendar for fun and exciting activities like their Mystic Mermaid show and breakfast - yes, mermaids enter the tanks to swim with your favorite tropical creatures! - as well as behind-the-scenes tours that are perfect for the curious kiddo.
Keep your eyes peeled while you're crab dip - you may find yourself faced with a shovelnose guitarfish, perhaps a barracuda or even a black tipped shark! This isn't your average fish tank, friends. This is an adventure of the taste buds and may just cause an uptick in your adrenaline levels.
For little ones, you can reserve a bottom-of-the-sea birthday party or book some time spent as a marine biologist for the day. This isn't just an eating experience - The Aquarium really tries to help kids and adults understand the world around them and how they can personally make a difference through education.
Make sure to come by on Taco Tuesday! This is one of our favorite days of the week, especially when it comes to a perfectly blackened tilapia taco. Yum!
