We Just Can't Stay Away From This Delicious Taqueria Hiding In Nashville
The word “Nashville” isn’t quite synonymous with Mexican fare, but a recent slew of new hot spots has given the city a refreshing influx of spice and style. Even though we don’t border our dear neighbor to the south, when Nashville gets a hankering for Mexican food you can be sure the call is answered with something delectable. And these new restaurants? Well, they take the cake.

Although Taqueria del Sol is a chain restaurant (we know, we know), their meals are downright delicious and can't be missed. We were so excited when Nashville opened their second location!

The seating area is airy and open, which means you won't be bumping elbows with your table neighbor. Nope. This is where you come...

Their guacamole is a must try, folks. It's perfect as a side with a fresh basket of chips. Menu options are reasonably priced, which means you don't have to worry about that extra order of queso, either.

We'd also recommend the cheese enchilada with salsa verde if you're looking for a meatless option. Order a drink and kick back because Taqueria del Sol takes customer service seriously, and you'll feel completely at rest and ease. The problem won't be coming back — it will be finding the strength to leave.

If you're looking to visit for yourself, make sure to pop by their new location at 4500 Charlotte Pike, or head back to the classic 2317 12th Ave. S
location.
If you’re in the mood for bbq, then this local spot is also delicious. After a lunch of tacos and chips, of course.
