Most folks have come to recognize Nashville as a mecca of inventive eats and restaurant concepts. The truly southern city has managed to welcome a whole heap of new hot spots in recent years, and its cultural awareness only continues to expand. Steam Boys, an Asian eatery located in the heart of the city, has introduced a whole ream of decadent menu items that are perfect for folks of all ages. Don’t believe us? Check them out for yourself! Family-friendly and fun for all, this is a decadent restaurant well-worth a repeat visit (or two!)
Steam Boys actually has two locations, one tucked away in the highly popular Germantown neighborhood near downtown and the other in the more suburban Hermitage area.
A fast-casual Chinese eatery, the interior is not only calming and beautiful, but perfect for single diners and groups. The environment is truly beautiful, perfectly complimenting a meal of Asian comfort fare.
The menu is rife with everything from bao buns to dumplings to noodle bowls. Affordable and charming, the space has been welcomed both by locals and tourists alike.
The noodle soups are nothing to turn your nose up at, either. We'd highly recommend the seafood noodle soup, made with scallops, shrimp, green onions, cilantro and baby bok choy. It's a truly indulgent way to experience a seafood-centric meal in Nashville.
Come for lunch to take advantage of lunch combos, like the bao sampler for a mere $12, or The Steamboy Classic, a combo that comes with bao and noodle soup. It's a small price to pay for a full belly and happy tastebuds.
You can visit for yourself for various lunch and dinnertime hours. They change depending on the day of the week but keep in mind that Steam Boys closes between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. every evening to get ready for the dinner rush.
