There’s nothing quite like visiting small-town Tennessee. There’s just something about it that transports you to another time when life was quieter and simpler. In the town of Cross Plains, there’s a small drug store that takes this experience to another level. We’ve compiled just some of the many reasons you really need to visit this small-town soda fountain. Check it out and enjoy the trip back in time.

Thomas' Drug Store is located in the small town of Cross Plains, about 30 miles North of Nashville. Their legendary hospitality and old-fashioned soda fountain draw visitors from all over middle Tennessee.

Thomas' Drugs has been serving up drinks and ice cream from its counter bar since the 1920s. They're known for concocting some of the best hot fudge sundaes and chocolate milkshakes in the state!

Every soda made at the counter is still completely handmade. The syrups are mixed with the soda water individually for each drink, giving them that perfectly nostalgic taste that will transport you back to the golden age of soda fountains.

The drug store is also a drug store, of course, and they even serve lunch every day Tuesday through Friday. Grill favorites include 100% beef hamburgers and the tastiest BLT's you've ever had.

So, make sure to visit Thomas' Drug store at 7802 Highway 25 East in Cross Plains. They're open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to noon.
