As winter is slowly replaced by spring and the heat of summer slowly sets in, it’s as if the city of Nashville takes on an edge of a holiday. Everyone is excited to, once again, be outside in the sunshine. Every year a full calendar of festivals and community-oriented experiences awaits locals and visitors alike, and the Sevier Park Fest is one of the best. Located in the heart of Music City, this annual celebration of local musicians and artists is a must-visit.
Sevier Park Fest is a ticketed Nashville event that takes place in the late spring just off the famed 12th Avenue South shopping drag. The event seeks to honor musicians, makers, and artists both from the area and by invitation.
The very first fest began in 2013 when a group of locals got together and dreamt up a fundraiser-festival event. The idea came to fruition in May of 2014 when the first Sevier Park Fest was held. Each year a series of activities, a vendor market, and musician lineup await ticket holders.
A short bike race is held every year, and you can sign up on the fest's official website. The course remains fairly short, and there is even an event for kids!
There are two stages for live music, and each day of the festival offers different entertainment experiences. Tickets are available online, and you can rest easy knowing the fest will take place rain or shine.
There are always multiple food vendors on-site, and you can expect meals from Edley's Bar-B-Que and sweet treats from No Baked Cookie Dough and Retro Sno. There's a little something for everyone!
Tickets to the Sevier Park Fest are $10 for adults ages 18 and over. Each admission ticket includes a craft beer from one of the festival bars, and children 17 and under can attend for free alongside a paying adult.
Sevier Park Fest takes place in the late spring, early summer every year, and a percentage of the proceeds go to benefit the Friends of Sevier Park. Will you be visiting this year?
