Pizza is the best way to a human’s heart and soul. It’s a true comfort food, the perfect conglomeration of bread and cheese and tart sauce, great for Monday nights and Saturday afternoons. Sal’s Pizza & Restaurant is located just outside of Nashville’s main drag, and it’s a local favorite. If you pull up a seat and bring yourself a big appetite, then it just might be the best meal in the city. Big appetites do well at Sal’s. Check out this Nashville classic below!
During the week, visitors to Sal's can indulge in an affordable lunch buffet that serves up authentic Sicilian-style pizza. Fountain drinks are available for purchase, and garlic bread and onion rings provide a fabulous appetizer.
The pasta options are also decadent. Cheese ravioli and manicotti are must-try's, and the gnocchi, baked ziti, and fettuccine shrimp alfredo have garnered rave reviews. All of the pasta dishes are served with garlic toast.
Sal's makes their dough fresh every day, and the pizza sauce comes from a family recipe that's more than 30 years old. It's the best of the best, make crisp and cheesy by folks who care.
Will you be joining for dinner? Visit from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Friday to Saturday. Make sure to head off to the lunch buffet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Monday to Friday, too. Happy pizza eating!
