There’s nothing more American than a good old-fashioned burger. There are plenty of spots where you can get good burgers in Nashville, but most of them come with a lengthy wait, especially if you go during normal dining hours (which, is exactly when we usually want to go). There’s still at least one local spot that’s still relatively unknown by the crowds, and they serve some of the best burgers in the entire city. It’s called Rosie’s Twin Kegs, but don’t let the name fool you. Their burgers are the standouts, and you won’t be able to wait to try them.
Rosie's Twin Kegs has had a lot of names and owners over the years, but one thing has always remained the same -- it's a great spot for cold drinks, good people, and the best burgers.
Despite the name, the burgers are the draw here, but the spot is still relatively unknown. Their menu consists of the classic burgers that you'd expect to find anywhere plus some specialties like the Big Bad Burger.
They also have a "burger of the month" every month, and it always has a fantastic name like this one, named "Corn in the U.S.A.," which is a burger with jalapenos, American cheese, and a mini corn dog on the side.
They even have an outdoor patio out back, which is the perfect spot to hang out with friends on a cool night. You can even bring Fido along to hang out on the patio as well.
Rosie's Twin Kegs is open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. on weeknights and 3 a.m. on weekends. They stop serving food at 11 p.m., though, so sorry to all the midnight burger hunters out there. Visit them ASAP at 413 W. Thompson Lane.
