Nashville has set itself apart in recent years as an, “It City” and a “Foodie City” and of course always as, “Music City”. We have a whole lot of names that make us palatable on a national scale, but not a lot of our most personable quirks make their way to the headlines. We put together seven of our favorite, albeit more secret, quirky facts to give you some local insight into our great city.

The Bongo Java, "Nun Bun" made headlines in 1996, when the Nashville eatery and coffeehouse spun out a cinnamon bun that looked strangely similar to Mother Theresa. Unfortunately, the story is now a legend - eleven years after its inception, the Nun Bun was stolen and never recovered. The story still lives on!
