The Corona virus has put life in Nashville on hold as of late, especially after the tornadoes that swept through the city just a few weeks ago. It’s been a hard couple of weeks. Still, Music City has shown up in spades, neighbors have helped neighbors, friends have helped friends. The city knows how to respond to heartache with a smile and a bit of Southern charm. If you’re quarantined in Nashville, then this laughable schedule might make you smile. Here’s to you, Music City. You’ve got this.
8 a.m. Wake up, and maybe put on that "Nashville Strong" t-shirt you bought a few weeks ago.
Now that there’s a glut of time in the morning, you can finally attempt to copy the famed Loveless Cafe biscuit recipe. Good luck, though. It’s been a secret for years and years.
Perhaps clean to the sound of one of the EP’s one of the musicians down on Broadway gave you weeks ago. It’s time to dust those off, folks. You have time to listen to them now!
…there’s nowhere more beautiful to walk and "socially distance" than Nashville. Stay in your neighborhood, say hi to the neighbor…but then again, you’d do that normally, wouldn’t you?
Snooze and think about the days that you can walk the streets of Broadway again, and sink along to the Honkytonk bands. It’ll come faster than you think.
