It can be difficult to find an eatery that manages to balance affordability with the classic flavors of India, but it seems as if Punjabi Dhaba in Kingston Springs has hit the jackpot. Located in a cabin just outside of Music City, this is a restaurant that may be off the beaten path but is well-worth a trip in and of itself. Learn more about this Indian eatery below and plan your own trip!
Punjabi Dhaba opened its first location in Cedar Grove, Tennessee, and though the original spot has since closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, owners Karan and James Singh managed to shift and respond in turn.
Its newest iteration is located in Kingston Springs, Tennessee. You'll find mainly truck drivers frequenting Punjabi Dhaba, especially since there is a Petro truck stop just across the street.
The location may be no-frills, but the menu is strictly high quality. The cabin-inspired exterior adds a cheeky, fun element to the dining experience, and you can order some of the most popular Indian dishes inside.
