There’s really nothing better than a taco when it comes to late lunches, dinners spent with friends, or even that mid-morning lull where a caloric pick-me-up is absolutely necessary. Tacos work for every meal and every palate. It’s an all-inclusive meal that’s fun to eat and unique in preparation, and Nashville just found itself the lucky recipient of a new casual taco restaurant: Pie Town Tacos. You can find the city’s newest eatery on Ewing Avenue, just beyond the hustle and bustle of downtown.
The taco shop opened in the summer of 2020 and has already earned rave reviews for its easy menu filled with fast-casual eats. Pie Town Tacos offers takeout and delivery, an offer that's hard to turn down when tacos are priced as an affordable $3 apiece.
The menu offers street-style taco favorites and "Nashville Style" tacos, so you can choose from classic carne asada or of the Tennessee hot chicken variety. Bowls of potato and chorizo or build-your-own options make it easy to pivot your meal towards any dietary need.
There's also a series of bottled drinks and fountain sodas available for purchase. Tacos, topo chico, chips and queso...Pie Town Tacos has fast-casual Mexican cuisine down pat.
Pie Town Tacos is available for catering, and also has a food truck for diners on the go. You can visit its brick-and-mortar location from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday to Saturday. The eatery is closed on Sundays.
