All across America, people debate between pie and cake as the king of desserts, but here in Nashville, there are a good handful of people that know there is a third option, and all of those people are thinking of the cobbler at the Peach Cobbler Factory. This Nashville food truck has been serving up all natural ingredient-cobblers and cinnamon rolls since 2013 and deserves a place in the conversation for best dessert option in the city. We know that’s a lot of hype, but trust us, this food truck lives up to it.
In the last five years, Nashville's food truck scene has absolutely exploded. There seems to be a food truck for absolutely everything these days, but there's one that's absolutely owning the dessert game.
The Peach Cobbler Factory may be one of Nashville's lesser-known trucks, but this is one that should be on your radar. As you would hope, they have simply the best cobbler in the city.
The Peach Cobbler Factory started as a pop-up at the Farmers Market but now has a tenancy with their truck on 12th South every weekend from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and you don't want to miss it.
If you're not a peach fan - a life we can hardly imagine - then you may want to order an ooey gooey cinnamon roll. The icing is thick and creamy, making this the perfect treat on a sunny summer morning. They even have cobbler-stuffed cinnamon rolls!
Probably the most amazing thing about the Peach Truck Factory is that they don't use butter. You would think that this would be a bad thing, but the cobbler is still out-of-this-world delicious. So it's all of the great things about cobbler with none of the guilt!
You can order a single serving of cobbler in any of their 12 flavors with or without a scoop of ice cream for only $6. For the quality of cobbler you're getting, that's an absolute steal, folks.
You can visit for yourself at 2701 12th Ave South in Nashville, Tennessee, from 11am to 5pm Friday through Sunday. Make sure to come early - these delicious treats are best enjoyed without the crowds.
