10 Outdoor Restaurants In Nashville You’ll Want To Visit Before Summer’s End
Eating outside is one of the best parts of summer. It adds a bit of nature to our sweltering seasons and provides a bite of deliciousness despite the heat and humidity. Here in the south, there’s nothing that a glass of iced tea and a fan can’t fix, so we’d recommend making a reservation at one of these ten outdoor restaurants and bars in the Nashville area to truly experience the beauty of our great state – even in the heat of July.

Rare Bird is located atop Noelle, a newly opened boutique hotel just off of Printer's Alley downtown. The gorgeous rooftop lounge and bar is known for its airy and upscale decorum, and we'd recommend visiting for small plates or a low-key get-together with friends.

Oh, Bella Napoli - how we love this sweet little place! Located in Edgehill Village, you'll feel as if you've stepped back in time and across the ocean when you order one of the homemade pizzas or plates of pasta from this local favorite. Their outdoor seating is in a charming alleyway, lit with twinkling fairy lights. Does it get more magical than this...?

Rolf & Daughters has long been considered one of the best restaurants in Nashville, but when it comes to a great patio? Well, actually - they have that down, too. The urban-rustic theme carries into the twinkling light of the patio, and the atmosphere is almost as good as the award-winning entrees.

Urban Cowboy recently opened in East Nashville, and by recently we mean in the last couple of years. Located in a dreamy historic home on the east side of the river, their outdoor bar and bonfire area is a great spot to gather with friends after a long day at the office.

Fat Bottom just recently moved from the east side to the west side, but we're not too torn up about it, mainly because we still get a fabulous patio out of the deal. The local brewery boasts fabulous small plates and an even better beer, so come ready to enjoy the summertime heat.

Barlines has recently made a name for itself as an "upscale Honkytonk". It's where you visit if you're looking to still catch the game while dodging the tourists of Broadway. You may be coming for a bit of bourbon, but may we suggest the house milkshakes? They're oh so delicious, especially in heart of August's heavy humidity.

The Pharmacy has long been a favorite of Nashville's, so their spot on our list probably doesn't surprise you too much. Still, we would be remiss if we didn't mention their beautiful patio area all lit up with string lights. Come and enjoy a house-made burger with a side of fries, and a fresh drink from the soda fountain only gives us more reason to indulge this season.

Von Elrod's Beer Garden & Sausage House is a Nashville newbie, having just opened to local fanfare in the Germantown neighborhood. The patio is covered and can seat up to 100 folks, making it a prime spot to grab a drink before heading to a Sounds game at First Tennessee Park.

The Westin in Nashville sure doesn't mess around when it comes to glamour in the sky. L27 is located on the 27th and 28th floors and offers up a panoramic view of Nashville. Make sure to check out their infinity pool if you can, because this just might be the classiest lounge you've ever crashed.

Located in Germantown, this upscale American restaurant has soaring ceilings and a darling patio space that's great for friends and family. If you're looking for an all-around winner, we'd recommend 5th & Taylor in a heartbeat.
These outdoor restaurants may be gorgeous, but these terrifying local legends are the real MVPs…
