If there’s two things that all Nashvillians love, they are live music and tacos, and there’s one festival in the city that brings both of those wonderful things together for a one-day-only extravaganza. The Nashville Taco Fest may be young compared to other established annual taco festivals around the country, but this one brings its own uniquely Nashville flair, making this an experience that you really don’t want to miss.
While it's not really close to the Southern border, Nashville has a surprisingly strong taco scene, and nowhere is that scene more on display than the Nashville Taco Fest.
The Taco Fest is an annual event that celebrates all things taco -- there's even a judging panel that picks the best Music City taco at the end of the event!
Food trucks from all over the area come in for this festival, and so do taco lovers. You have to buy a ticket to get in to the event, but general admission passes have historically only been $10 per person.
There's even live music all day long at the festival. Who doesn't love eating tacos, drinking cerveza, and listening to some of the best live bands in Nashville?
The Taco Fest currently doesn't have its 2019 date set yet, but it has historically been held in late May, so check their website for updates coming soon.
You can check out the highlight reel from the 2017 fest, here:
If barbecue is more your style, then you’ll want to be sure to check out this new spot just south of Nashville before this amazing secret gets out.
