You Won't Leave Empty Handed From This Amazing Cheese Shop In Nashville
Nashville is a city that is known for the things that make it touristy, things like country music, Lower Broadway, and hot chicken. But there are plenty of local, neighborhood spots around the city that you would never find in a Nashville travel guide that are absolutely worth going out of your way to visit. One of those places is The Bloomy Rind, Nashville’s favorite (and best) cheese shop. If you’re a cheese lover at all, you have to visit the Bloomy Rind ASAP.

The Bloomy Rind might be easy to miss, even though they're on one of the busiest stretches of Gallatin in East Nashville. That's because they share a space with the also popular Porter Road Butcher.

The Bloomy Rind started as a farmers market staple when the owner, Kathleen Cotter, started selling hand-picked cheeses from around the United States as a way to support local, American producers.

From having about a dozen cheeses available only on Saturdays, the Bloomy Rind is now available to folks every day, and its selection has grown extensively.

The cheeses are all cut-to-order, meaning you can go in and select just as little or as much of any cheese you want. That's a pretty sweet deal, especially if you don't want to pay a ton just to try something!

If you're looking to throw together a cheese board for a party, this is the spot to be. They also sell everything else you'd need like jams, chocolates, crackers, and olives!

Many of the cheeses that are sold at the Bloomy Rind are locally produced right here in Tennessee! They work hard to find the best cheeses from local farmers in the state, region, and the rest of the country for you to enjoy.

While their Facebook page says differently, the Bloomy Rind sells its cheeses every day of the week with the same hours as Porter Road Butcher: Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We'll see you there! Address: 501 Gallatin Ave, Nashville, TN 37206
