The Loveless Cafe is a retro diner in Nashville that’s been operating for just about 70 years. Founded by Nashville locals in the 1950s, this spot has been dishing out some of the tastiest diner fare in the city for generations. Here’s what you need to know to make the most of your visit to The Loveless Cafe.
This old-fashioned eatery in Nashville has been serving up comfort food goodness since 1951.
The Loveless Cafe started life as a motel, but guests seemed to be more interested in the owners’ buttermilk biscuits and fried chicken than their rooms for rent.
The diner uses the same biscuit recipe that brought Lon and Annie Loveless such a devoted customer following in the 1950s. In fact, the diner dishes up more than 10,000 of those tender biscuits each day.
The Loveless Cafe is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday through Monday. It’s closed on Tuesdays. Don’t feel like sitting in? Take advantage of their drive-through for goodness on the go or stop by their gift shop for Loveless merchandise.
