The Adventure Science Center, just south of downtown, has all kinds of kid-friendly activities and exhibits designed to get kids learning about all things science. And of course, it's a pretty cool spot for adults to hang out, too.

The Country Music Hall of Fame is a great spot to take visitors from out of town, but it's also a great spot to take kids! There's programming about songwriting every Saturday in the Taylor Swift Education Center, and there's kids scavenger hunts available upon request for the main museum.
Gentry Farm is a historic, working farm just south of Nashville in Franklin, and it's a great spot to take any kiddos that love tractors or animals or anything about the outdoors. You'll have to contact them to check the farm's status for the time of year, but they love offering educational programs for schools as well as day camps in the summer.
