Oak Hill Nature Sanctuary operats as a Williamson County non-profit organization and they're dedicated not only to their gorgeous Tenessee grounds and state natural restoration but to educational programs for all ages.

Here, you'll find all sorts of community events and workshops targeted at the habitat education and wildlife protection. Owl's Hill has been known to partner with local universities and organizations as well, broadening their educational reach.

This year you can join at 2pm on December 27th, 28th and 29th, as well as January 4th and 5th for a hike through the sanctuary with a cup of hot cocoa to follow.

It's $10 a hiker if you register online, and $12 a hiker for day-of walkups. It's a great way to bundle up and explore the Tennessee wilderness with friends and family, or even just by yourself in a group of new friends if you're looking.
