The hotel is said to be haunted by a ghost named Abigail and the love of her life. Abigail threw herself onto the train tracks after hearing about her soldier's death on the battlefield during WWII. She is occasionally seen at the hotel, which might sound very sad except that it is said a soldier accompanies her.
