11 Of The Most Frustrating Moments Every Nashvillian Has Experienced At Least Once
If you live in Nashville, you know our city is downright close to perfect. We’re located in a gorgeous central location, making it easy to take vacations and even easier to fall in love with the mountains to the east and the river to the west. Still, every city has a couple of rough spots, and we’d be lying if we said there aren’t certain things about our homeland that frustrate us a bit – here are a few of them!

Or anytime, really. We feel for the folks that have to crawl their way into downtown via this ultra-clogged interstate.

Is there anything more frustrating than a line around the building when your belly is screaming for $3 tacos?!

Locals HATE this annual downtown tradition. The city drowns in tourists every June, so much so that a large number of downtown businesses allow their employees to work-from-home to avoid the massive traffic and crowds.

Since 2013, Nashville has been on a constant upward trajectory and so have the rental prices. It's almost cheaper to buy nowadays than spend New York prices on a Nashville duplex.

If you have a tendency towards seasonal allergies, then springtime in Tennessee can be debilitating. The city is even touted as an "Allergy Capital" in the US.

Oh wait. There is none. Which means you better have a car or live close to work because it's not easy to make it across town using the bus system - be prepared to spend HOURS round-trip.

…the city falls apart. It doesn't happen often enough for Nashvillians to get used to driving in icy or snowy conditions, so we'd recommend you just stay home.

Tend to be incredibly expensive. Plan to trek it out-of-state if you're looking to see Taylor Swift or Beyonce, because the prices at Bridgestone are CRAZY expensive in Nashville.

We have a massive coffee scene here in Nashville, but sometimes you don't want to know about the origin of your organic beans or spend $10 on it - can we just have a cup, black?!

It makes it pretty awkward when you're trying to walk your dog on the road. There are some neighborhoods with sidewalks (pictured above), sure, but a large number don't boast the neighborhood safety feature.

Tennessee has the best bbq - hands down. Now we can all move on.
