Your Tastebuds Will Love This Delicious Street Food Festival Just Outside Of Nashville
The city of Franklin is a year-round draw for pretty much every Nashvillian. The beautiful small town is known for its fall and winter festivals as well as its annual Pilgrimage Music festival, but there’s one festival that takes place every year that will let you beat the crowds and enjoy some of the best food in Middle Tennessee at the same time. So grab the family and take it to the streets at Franklin’s Eat The Street food truck festival.

Each year, thousands of people descend on Franklin, Tennessee for one of the best though lesser-known festivals in Middle Tennessee: Eat The Street.

The festival is dedicated to the best possible subject: food. Namely, street food. More than 30 food trucks gather for folks to sample the best food in the Nashville area.

No street food festival would be complete without tacos, and the tacos from Yayo's OMG (Original Mexican Gourmet) are absolutely fantastic.

The festival has been happening every year since 2012, and it's gained in popularity every year since. In 2019, the festival is scheduled for May 3rd.

Even if you don't want a full meal and would rather stick to sweet treats, the Eat The Street festival has you covered. There's plenty of ice cream trucks at the festival as well!

The best part of the festival is that it benefits a great cause. A portion of the proceeds go to the 21st District Recovery Court which provides alternative-sentencing recovery programs for non-violent drug offenders with addiction issues.

The festival takes place at Franklin's Bicentennial Park, and as we stated earlier, this year it takes place on May 3rd from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Come out to the park and support your local trucks for a good cause!
There’s nothing more fun than a food-centric festival, but these scenic hikes around Nashville are truly one-of-a-kind experiences.
