You’ll Absolutely Love This 50's Themed Diner In Nashville
Nashville is known for its hot chicken and down south eateries, for biscuits and sweet tea and a solid bushwacker on a Friday night. Still, if you haven’t made your way to a few underground Music City favorites you really haven’t lived…yet. The Soda Parlor opened up in East Nashville, and offers up a fifties themed soda parlor (shocker!) that serves up a whole lot of flavor alongside a hefty slice of nostalgia. Take a look, have a taste, then come back with friends!

The Soda Parlor used to call Marathon Village its home, but now makes a solid spot for itself in the heart of the ever-popular Five Points.

The whole shop has a retro vibe and its only escalated by a handful of arcade games available for play. Whether you're looking for Nintendo NES or a bout of Ms. Pacman, this is one fun experience that's better shared.

Buuut we're going to argue that a nostalgic ice cream sundae or a crunchy bite into one of their freshly made waffles, warm from the oven, will give you a great reason to come back.

We told you: this place is bursting with fun. Where else can you play these vintage arcade games?!

The classic craft sodas on tap are also a huge draw for a lazy afternoon. There's a certain strain of nostalgia that drifts through the air at The Soda Parlor, and it's the sweetest way to spend a date or a weekend.

While you're there, keep in mind the neat locally-designed and printed apparel available for purchase. We'd wear that little critter around...eclipse or no!

You can visit for yourself from 10am to 11pm Monday through Saturday, or 11am to 8pm on Sundays at 966 Woodland Street.
