What about a medium sized suburb, one with great schools and perfect parks for the kids? We found ten towns, some small, some growing, but every single one of them perfect for families and couples alike. Nashville has ample room for transplants, and we’d recommend taking advantage of the space while you can.
Spring Hill, Tennessee is home to the famed Rippavilla Plantation and was known as one of the fasted growing communities in the nation during the early 2010's. It has since fallen into a small town rhythm, full of affordable homes and great schools.
Home to one of the cutest Main Streets in Tennessee, Columbia has super affordable homes - some historic! - and offers up fabulous schools alongside an award-winning community college.

Nolensville is a newer community, perfect for antiquing with friends over the weekend or investing in a forever home. The new high school is consistently on the up-and-up and it has one of the easiest commutes into Nashville on this list.

Kingston Springs is located on the west side of the city, down interstate 40. The traffic can get rough during the week, but you can't settle in a prettier part of town. Surrounded by wooded acreage and stunning natural foliage, there's no better place to buy a home off the grid.
White House has consistently been known as a family town, with less than 10,000 folks calling the small town home. It's located roughly twenty-two miles north of Nashville's downtown, which makes for a pretty clean commute.

Springfield just may be the cutest town in Middle Tennessee. It's local downtown shops feel like Mayberry, and the locals are both kind and frank. Invest in a historic home in Springfield and you may never leave!

We love little College Grove! This highly rural community gets lost in between Franklin and Murfreesboro, but its a beautiful space with homes great for little ones and dreaming young folk.
