When it comes to eating out, folks in Nashville tend to stick to the local favorites and Nashville specialties like hot chicken, biscuits, and meat-and-threes. But if any Nashvillian hasn’t been to Little Chicago Pizzeria & Grill in Midtown, they’re missing out on something that could truly be a Nashville favorite. This spot, hidden on busy Demonbreun St., may not look like much, but they’re serving up the most amazing, delicious deep-dish pizza in the city. If we haven’t already convinced you that you need to go, then you’ll just need to take a look for yourself….
In true Chicago-style fashion, they take the deepest of dishes and fill them with crust, then the traditional toppings, followed by the cheese and the sauce. If the sauce isn't on top, it isn't the real deal.
Possibly the best part about Little Chicago (other than the pizza of course), is the fact that you can order their pizza until at least 3 a.m. That's right -- in the morning.
When they pull it out of the oven, this is what the final product looks like. Just tell us that you wouldn't want to eat this entire thing by yourself. It's okay -- there's no shame.
While the pizza is amazing, you can usually walk right on in and grab a table at any time. Keep in mind that deep dish pizzas need to cook for longer, so you'll be waiting a little longer than you're used to for your food.
In true Chicago fashion, they even serve up Italian Beef sandwiches and Chicago-style gyros. So even if you're not in the mood for pizza, this is still the place to go.
Little Chicago is located in Midtown and is open from 10 a.m. to 3 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, staying open a little later until 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. They're located at 1524A Demonbreun St.
