The hike to Cummins Falls via the Cummins Falls Trailhead isn't too far, merely a 2.1-mile loop that can be found just outside of Cookeville, Tennessee.

The hike itself is rated as moderately difficult, and is not only family and kid-friendly, but dogs are also welcomed as long as they're kept on a leash. You may even find a few brave trail runners, too!

Cummins Falls itself is located in the aptly named Cummins Falls State Park, which is a 211-acre state park in Jackson County. The 75-foot waterfall is merely one small aspect of this gorgeous Middle Tennessee state park.
