Nashville’s downtown strip butts right up against a lazy curve in the Cumberland River, which means not only do locals and tourists have incredible views all night long, but the opportunity to indulge in some epic mealtime fun. If you’re looking to dance the night away or indulge in a riverside meal, ACME Feed & Seed is the place to go. Known around town as the kind of place where locals and tourists indulge, it’s a prime spot for some Cumberland views with hot chicken on the side. There’s nothing more Nashville than that!
Located in a historic farm store built in 1890, Acme is a true local treasure. It's the location of what used to be everything from a grocery store to Southern Soda Works, changing its name to Acme Farm Supply in the mid 1960s. Nowadays, it's a local watering hole and Honkytonk Highway hot spot.
Acme boasts multiple floors that each have different themes and menus. With 22,000 square feet at its disposal, the eatery is bursting with atmospheric fun.
The first floor is modeled after a classic honkytonk, aptly nicknamed the Acme "funkytonk." The second floor operates as a lounge and bar for more intimate experiences, and the third floor is The Hatchery. It's an event and music venue that's actually the largest of its kind on lower Broadway.
Of course, it's the open-air rooftop bar that gets quite a bit of hype. It's where you'll find the beautiful views of downtown Nashville, stretching from the banks of the Cumberland River to the heart of the city's skyline.
Although the menu will differ depending on where in the restaurant you choose to indulge, it's equally delectable across the board. From beer belly tacos and Nashville hot chicken to pork gyoza and egg rolls, there's no end to the flavorful fun of Acme.
There's really no better way to spend a stunning evening than on the rooftop of ACME, with a frosty cocktail in hand. It's a the song of summer, the perfect way to herald the cooler months.
