Oh, it’s the most wonderful time of the year, isn’t it? Here in Nashville we simply love the crisp bite in the air around the holiday season and the way the city lights up with true Christmas cheer. Our tiny towns are decked out in lights and evergreen regalia, and our artists are hard at work creating beautiful pieces for you to gift your loved ones, old and young. These five charming Christmas markets are hosted throughout Nashville this month, and they’re perfect if you’re looking for locally curated and made indulgences.
Porter Flea is probably Nashville's best known local makers market, a shopping tradition that pops up twice a year. You can indulge in the festivities on December 7th and 8th this year, with preview tickets available for purchase to attend Friday night and the event on Saturday which is free. Enjoy local wares and some of the best food trucks in the city. Your Christmas list is about to get all sorts of fulfilled, friends.
We love our sweet Hillsboro Village, and on December 8th you can visit from 4pm to 7pm for a fun holiday extravaganza. Eighteen stores along the strip will be open for you to stop, peruse and participate in all sorts of fun and festive activities. PS: Santa will be at Fido, and you don't want to miss him!
The Music City WinterFest takes place in Centennial Park, and it's a local holiday market that hosts food trucks and local artisans throughout the park's main lawn. You can choose to indulge in the s'mores station or even a carriage ride, and tickets can be bought at the Music City WinterFest website for $5 to $8 a person.
