When you come to Nashville, you might come for the shows, you might come for the music, you might come for the food, or even the weird catfish-themed attractions. Luckily, if you’re strapped for time, there’s one spot in the Opry Mills area that strangely satisfies all of those requirements. The food is delicious, the live music is flawless, and the pond in the middle of the restaurant is full of catfish (naturally). That’s right – at the Caney Fork River Valley Grille, there’s truly something for everyone.
Caney Fork is known for their delicious catfish dinners, burgers, and wild game, but you'd be amiss if you didn't at least get the Blazin' Bayou Catfish Strips as an appetizer.
They even have some more off-the-wall offerings like catfish po' boys and their wild game platter, which includes elk patties, frog legs, and alligator tail.
Caney Fork is open 4 p.m to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Visit today at 2400 Music Valley Dr.
