But we thought it was about time that we stopped with the ubiquitous “Bless your heart,” and actually told the real truth about Nashville. No we don’t hang out with Taylor Swift at Bongo Java every Saturday morning, and Carrie Underwood isn’t just singing at a bar in downtown randomly. Seriously -- if you walk around downtown early on a weekend morning, you can walk by all the places and not have to be worried about getting ambushed by a bachelorette party.
East Nashville has some of the best bars and restaurants in the city, but they can be hard to get to. But let's be honest, the trek is part of what makes this part of the city so great.
