As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. Every little one grows up with magical ideas about the igloo of the far north. It’s a mystical structure, a magical thing that only shows up in cartoons or quirky holiday films. Here in Nashville, the Bobby Hotel has managed to lasso the beauty of childhood and adult spark of happy hour with heated igloos atop the hotel, in the midst of the already stunning rooftop bar. It’s a childhood dream come true with a little vodka on the side.
Bobby's Hotel has made a name for itself for its stunning interior design and emphasis on upscale, southern hospitality. It opened to quiet fanfare in the spring of 2018 and quickly grown into one of the most popular — and Instagrammable, let's be honest — boutique hotels in town.
Considered a "lifestyle hotel", there are four places to eat, drink and be merry throughout the downtown space. You can indulge at Bobby's Garage, the Tavern at Bobby, the Cafe at Bobby or even atop the hotel itself, at Bobby's Rooftop Lounge.
Bobby has introduced a rooftop heated igloo concept for the 2018 holiday season, and it's just as decadent and lovely as it looks. You'll be able to visit with your friends and dear ones from out of town whilst out of the cold.
Folks are raving about the spiked hot chocolate, although you can also indulge in the full bar and holiday drink specials while sitting high above the city.
The rooftop bar is open every day of the week, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and open until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Keep in mind, though — igloos are first come, first served. We'd recommend getting there early or perhaps calling ahead for group reservations.
