Nashville has expanded into a foodie destination in the last couple of years, and we can’t get over the massive amout of gorgeous and delicious new restaurants dotting the Music City landscape. We’ve highlighted four neighborhoods in the city that truly elevates the city’s restaurant status. Whether you tend to filter through Germantown, East Nashville, The Gulch or The Nations neighborhood on a daily basis or require a day trip, these eateries are more than worth the drive.
Henrietta Red is known for its seafood-centric menu and inventive cocktails alongside its stunning interior design. This is truly an eating and atmospheric experience that's great for everyone involved. We'd recommend their communal bar area if you're coming late at night - it's perfect for a cozy nightcap! (1200 4th Avenue)
City House is your cozy answer to classic Italian food with a twist. Tucked in the heart of Germantown, the pork belly pizza (with an egg on it!) proves to be a cult favorite, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the seasonal menu. (1222 4th Ave N)
Marketed as an, "American" eatery, the low-key industry vibe with perfect yellowing lights and a stunning outdoor patio makes Rolf & Daughters anything but ordinary. It runs a little on the expensive side, but its location tucked off the main Germantown strip gives this restaurant the privacy of an elite European space. (700 Taylor Street)
Five Points Pizza has reached cult status in East Nashville - there's really no question about it. Their garlic knots are legendary and the opportunity to buy by the slice is second to none. Get a beer on tap while you're at it! (1012 Woodland Street)
The patio and fire pit are probably the top characteristics of the Urban Cowboy Public house, a rustic spot stuck deep in the heart of East Nashville. Their craft cocktails are divine and the menu oscillates on a seasonal basis which means you won't be getting tired of this spot any time soon! (1603 Woodland Street)
You've probably seen Cafe Roze splashed all across your social media, namely for their beautiful eats and interior design that pivots on a stunning millennial pink theme. New, marble-infused and high class, this is the kind of brunch that elevates your whole weekend. (1115 Porter Road)
This gorgeous, gilded restaurant serves up a twist on Caribbean fare with a little bit of glitz and understated glamour. The vegetable-driven menu is fresh and colorful, making it a great spot for vegetarians and carnivores alike. (505 12th Ave. S)
The 404 Kitchen has recently moved across the street, which means there's more room for patrons. You'll find a contemporary twist on European classics all over the seasonal menu that's perfect for date night. (507 12th Ave S)
A sushi restaurant in landlocked Nashville?! Yep, it's true. Chic Virago is located in The Gulch neighborhood, and its artistic take on classic sushi dishes make for a fabulous night out. (1126 McGavock Street)
Everything is organic in this homey little hive of a restaurant, located just outside of The Nations on Charlotte Avenue. The space is airy and beautiful, offering up some of the best brunch in west Nashville and serving freshly brewed coffee on the daily. (5304 Charlotte Avenue)
The newest location for the highly popular Nashville-based Frothy Monkey coffee shop is located in The Nations, and is twice the size of its original location in 12South. Filled with natural light and a heap of locals, this is a great place to post up and spend a day. (1400 51st Ave. North)
Coal-fired pizza and delicious homemade pastas make up a majority of the menu at Nicky's, and its made for a cult following of folks who adore everything this Nashville restaurant has to offer. (5026 Centennial Blvd)
If you’re looking for even more to experience, this Nashville restaurant was named one of the most beautiful in the nation. How crazy is that?!
