When it comes to experiencing life across the pond in Tennessee, you may find yourself scratching your head. Where will you indulge in authentic bratwurst, you ask? Where can you find a Bavarian soft pretzel that tastes like it was honed in the heart of Germany? Look no further than Bavarian Bierhaus, a locally owned and operated eatery that has stolen the heart of city folk with its expansive amount of beer and decadent eats.
The Bierhall itself opened in 2017, and touts itself as a true German experience in the heart of the American south. The space seats more than 500 folks, and with 120 seating options outside in the Biergarten you'll almost feel like you've crossed the pond.
The menu, as expected, is absolutely decadent. Soft pretzels are served with sweet mustard, you can indulge in warm bier cheese or Kartoffelpuffer, and potato pancakes are served with sour cream and applesauce.
Continue your indulgent trip to Germany with Reuben rolls, which consists of three deep fried rolls served with Thousand Island Sauce for your dipping fun.
A flight of beer goes well with Flammkuchen, a Bavarian flatbread served with bacon, red onions, and cream cheese. Schnitzel and pork roast, brats and potato dumplings, your belly can't go wrong at Bavarian Bierhaus.
The space hosts everything from live music to local events, lending itself as a communal space in the burgeoning city of Nashville. Come for the fun, come for the experience. You simply won't find a better representation of Germany anywhere else in Middle Tennessee.
Don't miss out on all the fun and good eats! You can visit for yourself from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
