Batey Farms can be found tucked away in the heart of Rutherford County, roughly six miles from the heart of Murfreesboro. This long-running farm has become famous for its strawberries, sunflowers, and fresh pork. If you haven't been before then you should know before you go that this is a century farm so generation after generation has been carefully caring for the land to ensure you receive the best crops available.

The farm itself is family-owned and is now operating as an 8th-generation business. The hog, hay, and row crop farm is one of the most historic and highly regarded working farms in middle Tennessee, dating back to 1807.

This farm has been a local favorite for a long time allowing guests to come and pick their own strawberries and experience a true Tennesseean agricultural experience. As much as we enjoy all of those things it's the sunflowers that have us intrigued. We're absolutely in love with the sunflower fields that explode across the farm in the early part of the summer.
