Nashville is known for its city slicker attitude nowadays, but that doesn’t mean you can’t indulge in all the beauty and fun of nature right outside the city. If you’re a fan of zipping through the lush wilderness of the Volunteer State, then a visit to Adventureworks in Whites Creek just might be the answer. It’s the answer to the adventurer in you, the lover of heights, the hidden human that adores the fast track and the grand beauty of the forest. If you haven’t been, a day at Adventureworks deserves a spot on your autumn bucket list.
Adventureworks has been operating in the Middle Tennessee area since 1987, and it's become a nationally recognized adventure fun park that's great for all ages.
The ziplines are perhaps the most popular opportunities for fun at Adventureworks, and with 9 different lines that traverse almost 2 miles of terrain, well. You'll zip through the forests of the Fontanel and experience the Tennessee wilderness in a way unlike any other. You can schedule tours on their website, including the $59 Canopy Zip tour and $45 Aerial Adventure Course. Prices will fluctuate depending on the ages of everyone in your party.
If you're looking for a different kid of challenge, there's a 25-element challenge course that will take you to the treetops. All of the staff has spades of experience and training, so you'll be guided and protected along the way. No fear here!
Swing into all the fun of autumn and the upcoming holiday season with a visit to Adventureworks. It blends adventure and fun in the best of ways, making it one of the most popular spots to spend a day outside of Nashville.
You can visit from Monday to Saturday, with the first tour beginning at 10 a.m. and the last at 4 p.m., or you can come on Sundays when the first tour begins a bit later at 12 p.m., though the last still begins at 4 p.m. Happy ziplining!
