Enjoying a sweet meal in the country is one of the best parts of living in the American south. Everyone shows up with open hands and open hearts, bellies grumbling and ready for something delicious. A meat and three, fried chicken, perhaps a salad with homemade dressing, cornbread on the side. It really doesn’t matter as long as everyone is together, the food is good and the country creeks are a bubblin’ out front. This gorgeous spot in Leipers Fork is one of our favorite best-kept secrets outside of Nashville, and we’re sure you’ll know why.
1892 is located in the heart of small-town Tennessee, right in Leipers Fork. Known as a beautiful and tight-knit community roughly an hour outside of Nashville, this sweet space simply bursts with southern hospitality.
Located in an old farmhouse, the decor matches the old-timey atmosphere perfectly. This is where you come to step back in time, to spend a quality meal with friends
The ambiance may be incredible, but the service is also pretty brag-worthy. Here you're treated like family from the get-go, there's no haggling over what to order or who to chat with for lunch. Your waiter knows precisely what's on the menu, and will be able to address any allergy or taste preferences.
Quaint and friendly, AND their meals are truly a work of art. This unique farm-to-table eatery makes for a fun experience, whether you're looking for romance or a casual date night.
We'd recommend any meat on the menu, but folks tend to rave about the hamburger. You're also welcome to BYOB, and there are beers available for purchase onsite.
You'll also be treated to Prevail Bakehouse Breads served alongside your entree. Everything is made on site, which means you'll be treated to a delicious meal no matter which day you visit.
We'd recommend reserving a table ahead of time to make sure there's space for your delicious eating experience. Visit Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 4150 Old Hillsboro Rd. in Leipers Fork, Tennessee. We can't wait to hear what you think!
