What are the most charming small towns in Tennessee?

Most places tend to have more small towns than big cities, and Tennessee is certainly no exception. There are all sorts of quaint, small towns scattered all over the state, and each of them comes with its very own kind of magic. Every small town is lovely, but there are some that you’ll see mentioned over and over again. Some of those include Gatlinburg, which serves as a gateway to Great Smoky Mountains State Park, an incredibly beautiful place you’ve got to visit if you haven’t already (and if you have, visit again). Lynchburg is a tiny little town with plenty of charm... and it just so happens to be the home of world-famous Jack Daniel’s whiskey distillery. Franklin is gorgeous, and Tellico Plains is seriously just to die for. There are truly hundreds more; these are just to get you started!

Where are the most beautiful places in Tennessee?

Oh, Tennessee. How beautiful are thee? Let us count the ways. Residents of the Volunteer State will be the first to tell you that this state is just plain the best there is when it comes to beautiful places. For example, you can’t pass up a chance to go see Twin Falls, which is nestled within Rock Island State Park and tends to take one’s breath away the very first time they lay eyes upon it. In Appalachia, you’ll find gems like Roan Mountain, where rhododendron gardens thrive and bring thousands to admire and photograph them every year. Tennessee's state parks are especially wonderful, and we’re in luck because there are 56 of them around these parts! What are some important places to visit in Tennessee?

Some people just don’t give Tennessee enough credit! There are some places around the state that nobody in their right minds would pass up on visiting. Some of the most important places to visit if you want the full Tennessee experience include places like the old County Music Hall of Fame, in Nashville – and, while you’re at it, all of Nashville, too. It’s an incredible city with some of the most interesting music history in the world, and the barbecue is great, too. Tennessee is also home to the National Civil Rights Museum, which every person should experience at least once, and, of course, the Grand Ole Opry is a must-see for everyone, too.
