The Surprising Tennessee Town That Makes An Excellent Weekend Getaway
Summertime is slowly coming to a close here in the south, and that means that our vacation plans are dwindling and disappearing in a haze of bright sunlight, grill smoke and tan lines. Monteagle is nestled deep into Tennessee's rampant natural beauty, and can sometimes be ignored because of its remote location. We, however, think that spending the weekend in Monteagle is the perfect way to experience the quiet heart of the American south.
