We’re suckers for a cute coffee shop, y’all. There’s nothing like a hot cup of joe first thing in the morning, enjoyed amongst friends and sipped in a beautiful space. McGavock’s Coffee Bar first slipped onto the scene as Franklin’s premier European-style coffee bar, and it’s stuck around thanks to the darling decor, kind service, and phenomenal coffee. If you haven’t been to this local coffee shop, it’s a must-try. Learn more about it below and plan a trip for yourself! Your mid-afternoon slump will thank you.
McGavock's Coffee Bar & Provisions is located in the Harpeth Hotel in downtown Franklin, Tennessee. The warmly decorated coffee shop is styled after classic European coffee bars and offers a series of espresso-based drinks, breakfast pastries, and small meals.
You just might recognize the coffee used behind the counter: it's from Honest Coffee Roasters! Known for its local roots at the nearby Factory at Franklin, you can expect quality every time you order from McGavock's.
The interior is both artfully decorated and warm. It's the perfect place to come and meet a friend, read, or simply grab a cup to-go on your way to work.
The coffee is wonderful, but the locally baked pastries are UNREAL. Breakfast pastries are stocked daily with both savory and sweet offerings available. For lunch, you can choose from a number of salads, artisanal sandwiches, and a rotating number of offerings from local makers.
Looking for something a little stronger come the afternoon? McGavock's has a number of premium wines you can order by the glass, as well as a focused number of liquors that highlight French and Italian origins.
