It’s finally spring in Tennessee, which means the state is heading right into a season that boasts perfect weather and a whole lot of blooms. With the sunshine comes the ache for outdoor activities, whether you’re jonesing for a hike through the suddenly green mountains or across the plains of West Tennessee. Solo activities are fun and the beauty of the land is great, but what about activities out and about? What about fun for kids?
We have your answer at the beautiful McCraw’s Strawberry Ranch.
McCraw's Strawberry Ranch is considered a diamond in the rough, a true sleeper hit tucked away in the heart of Clarksville, Tennessee. The ranch focuses on providing a true, down-home strawberry picking experience from start to finish.
McCraw's has been named one of the best berry pickin' ranches in the area, not only for the opportunity to pick your own fruit but also the kind service and hospitality. It's a true Tennessee establishment that puts the experience and heart of its guests above all else.
The ranch grows strawberries on roughly ten acres, and offers customers the opportunity to either pick their own - kids and families are welcome! - or buy freshly picked berries in bulk.
McCraw's also grows tomatoes, squash, watermelons, cantaloupes and other vegetables and fruits that are sold both on the farm site and to other venues in the area.
Pick your own or buy a box, just make sure to come back. McCraw's is the ranch that keeps on giving, the one that values its customer's experiences and provides top-notch service every time. If you're looking to visit this year, the ranch posted on its Facebook page that it should be open for berry picking come the first week in April.
Visit for yourself at 2385 Rossview Road in Clarksville, Tennessee, and make sure you bring the stamina for a whole lot of fun! This incredible farm is well worth a visit (or two!) this season.
Keep up with news about the ranch on its Facebook page.
