The first location was born in 2006 in Nolensville, Tennessee, and since then, it's been a continuous climb as the success of the business propelled them forward. Today, Martin's BBQ Joint has multiple locations across the South; many of them are still in Pat’s home state but others have branched off into other states like Kentucky, South Carolina, and Alabama.
The smell, the flavor, and the nature of whole hog BBQ is a fascinating process that happens a whole 24 hours before it is delivered to your plate. Starting fresh every day, a new pig is cooked over open fire, slow and low until its perfectly succulent and unbelievably delicious.
